They are back! The signature sneaker of one Michael Jordan. The basketball legend that created a legendary line of basketball sneakers. The Air Jordan line of sneakers has been around for over 20 years now. It has spawned a countless number of models of the original shoes that Michael himself wore on the NBA hardcourt for over a decade. Unfortunately, the last two years have been very unkind to the Jordan signature sneaker. The Jordan 2009 and the Jordan 2010 were sneakers that did not represent the man who created the legendary shoe very well. And that is not acceptable to Jordanheads, Jordan Brand, and Michael himself.

Hence, the Jordan 2011. Thank god for Tinker Hatfield and Tom Luedecke! It took several years, but these two Nike designers revived the Air Jordan.

It is a classic shoe. Perhaps the best Jordan shoe ever made. It saved the Jordan shoe line. It was the first shoe to use "Elephant Print". 2011 is seeing it's return to the sneaker world in a big way. And it is going to be dropped in another colorway very soon. The Air Jordan III. Already released in white/cement, "true blue", "stealth", "Black Cat", and Doernbecher, and the soon to be black/cement colorways, the Air Jordan III is going to drop yet again in a different colorway. Dubbed the "Black Flip", this colorway is an all black version and uses a reverse blocking of leather and elephant print. What does that mean? Basically the grey and black colors used to make up the elephant print are reversed to create a completely different look.

Back in 2007, there was an identical release but in a different colorway. That Air Jordan III used a white base for it's upper with grey elephant print throughout.The midsole featured white and used a grey based outsole. Dubbed the "Flip", the shoe was an instant classic and sold out everywhere.

As you may know as a fellow sports fan you would know many football fans across the world have been struggling over the recent NFL lockout. And now NBA fans across the world will struggle with the new lockout of the National Basketball Association otherwise known as the NBA. Some ESPN and other professional sports writers and reporters are predicting that the 2011 NBA lockout is going to be a lot worse than the 2011 NFL lockout. Some of the reporters even go so far to say that the NBA may not even have a season this year. I wish this was not true but we have to face the facts, it is all about the money and how much everyone gets paid.

Problem - First off what starts every lockout in the history of sports is the problem that somewhere someone is not getting paid enough throughout the ranks of the organization. It was up to me I would just have them play and just have a flat salary but that is not how the world works in every player is not of equal talent. And in this case the NBA 2011 lockout was primarily caused by the NBA officials and the NBPA (otherwise known as the national basketball players Association) So Let's cut to the chase. The Problem is that the collective bargaining agreement has expired and the NBA players in the commissioners cannot come to an agreement.
